Rodrigues has a multitude of hidden treasure on the reef with all manner of colourful tropical darting around the corals as well as big pelagic hunting around.
Diving in Rodrigues is not just about pretty reefs and flamboyant fish. Even the colour of the water is superb.
The best months to go are October, November, December and January, when you can expect good visibility, smooth seas and transit of humpback whales. February is also good but there is a risk of cyclone. Avoid the winter months (June to August) for diving as the sea conditions are not good.
